changing source of news
anecdotally, the Daily Show, a comedy satire of nightly news with some pretty scathing insight, is becoming a top source of real news. How can the newspapers respond? Onion supplements on Fridays?

It might be satire, but like all the best satire it highlights issues of real importance, which is more than can be said of US network news (I've seen NBC, ABC and CBS evening news over here on various channels, and they mostly leave a lot to be desired).
Incidentally, is it telling that The Daily Show: Global Edition is the best reason to watch CNN International?
